I am a 22-year-old fully qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse, currently working in Flat Bush full time and living in the beautiful town of Pōkeno. 

With 4+ years of professional experience working with companion animals (2+ of those working full time as a qualified Vet Nurse) aswell as animal volunteering and pet sitting experience from the age of 12, you can be rest assured your pet will recieve quality care and love. I also have experience with more "exotic" species such as birds, rabbits, rodents and reptiles, and understand that they are unique in their care requirements. I have some, but limited experience with lifestyle animals, but am very excited and eager to learn more about them and their care requirements! I am passionate about providing only the best care specific to each individual's needs.

I am eager to utilise and grow my skills to help care for your furry babies. I love to help others and it is my passion to ensure our furry family are healthy and happy. Every pet has their own unique needs and personalities, and I am dedicated to working with you and your pet, to ensure they receive only the best care with love, catered specifically to them.

My partner Matthew (25), shares in my love for all animals and has spent a lot of time caring for his family pets in his childhood. He also absolutely adores helping me with house sitting jobs! So ONLY if you are comfortable having both of us, he would be so grateful to be able to love and care for your furry family with me, of no extra charge. He currently works as an engine machinist, but is currently in the process of applying to the Airforce to become an Aircraft technician. He finishes his work earlier than I do and is able to be back with your furry friends earlier than when I am working, to care for them.

We currently have 6 furry babies of our own, rescue guinea pigs Brooke, Batman, Maggie, Lola, and our most recent additions Gandalf (a long-haired guinea pig) and a little black kitten named Slinky. We also grew up with animals of all sizes, Sam with two Miniature Poodles and a Labrador X, and Matt with a rescue dog, a Labrador, 4 little rats and some tropical fish.

I welcome pets of all sizes, species, breeds and fitness levels.

I offer a free meet + greet prior to any booking, so that you and your pet(s) can get to know me better (& Matt, if applicable).

Walks can be anywhere up to 1hr (or just over) depending on your pets' exercise and enrichment requirements. I can also take them to any specified area (within reasonable distance) in my car, so they can be walked in an area of your choosing or that suits their needs best, whether it be a flatter urban area, the dog park or in the bush. The number of dogs I can walk at once is dependant on their sizes and temperaments, but as a general rule I will take no more than 3-4 dogs on a walk at once for both theirs and my safety.

When doing pet sitting & home visits, I am more than happy to do any extra bits around the house (watering plants, bringing in mail, etc.) and will ensure your home is kept tidy and clean. I can also bathe and brush your pet, and trim their nails as needed. I can administer any medications (oral, injectable, etc.), and treatments (massage therapy, ROM exercises, etc) as required. I also have ample experience in emergency situations with rigorous and regular training in pet first aid and CPR, so you can be rest assured your pet is in good hands.

PLEASE NOTE: As I currently work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and the odd Saturday morning shift, I will only be able to care for and keep your pets company overnight on these weekdays and they will be unsupervised during my work and commute hours. Any dog walks will also need to be scheduled outside of my work hours.
