Hi, I’m Shalini! 😊

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I feel so lucky to have cared for many friends pets over the years. From dogs and cats to chickens, guinea pigs, and rabbits, I’ve had hands-on experience looking after all kinds of wonderful pets.

I’ve house- and pet-sat for friends while they were away, as well as popped in to feed their cats or take their dogs for walks when life got busy. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer stay, I’m always happy to help care for their animals

I also had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the University of Auckland’s Dog Lab, where I assisted with fascinating behavioral studies on dogs and was lucky enough to spend lots of time with so many doggos!

I have a cat named Lyla of my own, (grey cat in my photo gallery) which I adore! I also raise my brother’s Japanese Spitz, Luna from a puppy, so I know how much love and attention pets need :)

My motivation is simple, I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them brings me so much happiness. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or ensuring they’re well fed and comfortable, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own.

In terms of services, I am happy to do home visits for pets, whether that's just feeding , housesitting and dog walking :) I work full time, so after around 5pm on weekdays works best (for dog walking). I'm pretty much always free on the weekends though!

I live in West Auckland, Henderson area but happy to travel far if needed.
