I believe it's pretty much impossible to have too many pets in your life. :-) We currently have a Jack Russell-Chihuahua cross, two cats, two ancient chickens (going on fourteen years old), a raft of free-loading ducks, and two horses. As a side hustle from my work as a freelance editor (and as a way to get an additional pet fix), I started walking dogs and making pet home visits during the first lockdown. Although my editing work has picked back up since then, I found I couldn't give up my "adopted" pets. So here I am still on Pawshake, always looking for that next wonderful dog or cat or chicken or donkey to get to know. :-)
I offer reliable and attentive in-home visits with play time, cuddles, and feeding as desired. And I love to get moving outside with 30-minute local dog walks. In addition, I'm happy to provide some basic training, always, always using positive reinforcement as well as closely coordinating with owners to ensure my interactions are consistent with yours. Working from home, I have a very flexible schedule and can usually make most requests work.
I know it can be very stressful to entrust your pets to someone else's care, but I consider it my privilege and my pleasure to give every animal I meet the affection and care they deserve. I hope I can help out you and your pets when you need it. Thank you. :-)

Rachel is fantastic! Very quick communication and incredibly flexible with bookings. Also love the updates I get after each walk. I am confident that our dog is not only being walked but also being trained as well as having a fantastic time 😊
Rachel is brilliant with my 7 month old puppy Murphy. Murphy loves her and looks forward to his walks and I can relax knowing that he is in safe hands. Highly recommended.
