I’m a qualified Veterinary Nurse with many years of hands-on clinical experience, and I’m now offering professional in-home pet sitting and house sitting services. Working in a busy vet clinic has taught me how to stay calm, organised, and attentive, even when animals need extra help or reassurance. I’m confident caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs, and I have a special soft spot for naughty tortoiseshells, rescues adoptions, senior pets and animals who need a bit more understanding and patience.

My motivation to become a pet sitter is simple: animals feel safest in their familiar environment, and I love being the person who makes that possible while their owners are away. I’m able to administer medications, monitor health, and support pets with special requirements, so owners can travel knowing their animals are being cared for by someone with professional training.

I take pride in being reliable, compassionate, and respectful of every home I’m trusted with. I look forward to meeting your pets and keeping them happy, relaxed, and safe in their own space.

Travel-wise, I keep it pretty simple.

I offer free travel within 5km of the New Plymouth city centre, which luckily covers most of town.

Anything beyond that is just a small $10 travel fee to cover petrol and time — especially for those longer treks.

(Bell Block, I love you, but I live over by Whalers Gate! You’re far enough away that my car starts asking whether we’re there yet, and a trip out there feels like I should’ve packed snacks and a playlist!)
