My name is Sam and I am a 22 year old med student at the University of Auckland. I have 2 dogs at home (a 13-year old daschund-poodle called Macy and a 1-year old cavalier-poodle called Nellie. Both are full of energy and need a lot of exercise, as do I! I love taking them to parks and to the beach to have a runaround.
My dogs are very affectionate and I really enjoy spending time with them whether this is outside or just having cuddles inside. I also have two cats at home so I am familiar with caring for cats. Since I was 13, I have helped out in a cattery over the holiday periods which involved cleaning cages, feeding cats and various other duties. I also managed the cattery a few times while the owners were away.
I really love spending time with animals so I thought I could turn it into a part-time job. I offer dog walking and visits to your home to feed and check on your pets while away. The older of my dogs has had various health problems and I am comfortable with recognising signs that she is unwell and also with administering daily medication.
I have a car and a full license so transport will not be an issue. I am responsible, reliable, oprganised and I will make sure you have nothing to worry about while I am caring for your pet. I am more than happy to keep in contact with updates about how your pets are going if you would like this.
I would love to spend time looking after your pets and I look forward to hearing from you!

I am studying medicine which is obviously more relevant to the health of humans however, I think I am familiar with signs to look for in animals that may indicate they are unwell. My course requires me to act professionally and be very responsible. I have had to undergo police checks for my placement in the hospital.
