Hi everyone! 

We are Georgie (34) and Tama (33). Georgie is a clinical psychologist from the UK and Tama is an outdoors enthusiast and a Kiwi. We lived in Sydney for 2 years, before relocating to lovely Nelson in May this year. We are both completely mad about animals and would absolutely love to look after yours! 

We both grew up with pets, and each have lots of experience of caring for dogs and cats. Georgie had many hamsters and Guinea pigs as a child, and Tama even had two pet rats when he was small! We don't currently have our own furry friend, but we plan to adopt in the next few months. 

Both of us work as contractors and fix our own hours, so we have lots of time to spend with your pet. Georgie works from home most days, with a few hours in the office during the week, usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We can try to offer flexibility around you and your pets needs - just send us an enquiry!

We live next to the Brook and Mai Tai Rivers and have lots of beautiful, dog-friendly walks close by - including The Centre of NZ and The Grampions, which are favourites of ours. We are both caring and responsible, and we understand the amount of work that goes into keeping a pet happy and healthy. 

Here are some common Q&A's that could be helpful in deciding if we are the right people for you and your pet/s: 

1.What is included in pet sitting/overnight stays?

Day time and evening feeds (as required), lots of walking, play and cuddles! We are also very comfortable administering any medication (tablet/liquid form) as required. 

2. Where will my pet sleep?

For overnight stays, we will place your pet in our lounge in their bed/crate (whichever you specify). We understand that some dogs can really struggle with separation and therefore might find it very hard being alone at night. For anxious animals, we can be flexible about proximity to us and may offer for them to sleep in our room, if appropriate.  

3. What is your availability? 

Georgie works Monday - Thursday, 9am-4.30pm, with Fridays and weekends available. This means that we usually quite often have availability for weekend pet boarding or home visits. Tama usually works through the week, Monday - Friday, between 8am-4pm. This means that we are around in the evenings most nights and have lots of time and energy to give to the pets in our care. 

Drop off and pick up times ideally will be between 8.30am- 5pm, but we can be flexible about this. 

4. Will you care for two pets?

Yes! For an extra charge (see prices) we are happy to host day care and overnights for two pets. 

5. Can we meet you first? 

Absolutely! We will meet with you and your pet for an initial intro/play/walk, to see if we are the right fit. We can also arrange a second follow-up, if required/preferred before booking.
