Hi, I'm Aleyna!

I am an outdoorsy, animal-loving 22-year-old from Glasgow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, now living in sunny Nelson with my boyfriend after wrapping up my university degree. I am an experienced and reliable pet sitter, offering loving, professional care for all kinds of animals.

I have been caring for pets since I was 15 — starting with my friends' and family's pets and then gradually offering services for others in the local community. Since moving to Nelson, I have been dog sitting with my boyfriend for family friends and I've been providing professional pet care through Pawshake and have absolutely loved it — getting to know many wonderful pets (and their humans!) along the way, as well as starting to obtain great reviews from wonderful clients.

What I offer:

🦮 Daily Walks - from $20

Walks are tailored to your dog's needs and energy, with my usual spots being the Mai Tai River, Centre of NZ, or the beach.

💤House Sitting - $50 per night

I'll stay in your home to keep your pets relaxed and comfy in their own space. I offer 2-3 walks a day for dogs (plus play, cuddles & enrichment), and I'll keep cats company, make sure their litter trays are clean, and follow any routine you have in place. Your pets will be in good hands — and your home will be just how you left it.

*If you require me to stay for the full day and into the evening on the final day of the booking, an additional $35 will be added. This additional charge does not apply if the booking originally started in the evening.

*Pet limit details

The nightly rate covers up to 3 pets total - with a maximum of 2 dogs.

If you have additional pets, there will be a small extra daily fee depending on the number and types of pets included.

🏡 Home Visits - from $25

Perfect for feeding, play, litter duty, or check-ins while you're out. Visits last around 30-60 minutes. Light housework included if needed.

💊Special needs & medication

If your pets need any special medication or have dietary requirements, I'll follow instructions to a T and keep them on track. Your furry friends will be in the best hands! 💖

Availability:

I work as a teacher aide Mon-Fri from 9-3. Available outside those times & on school holidays.
