I am a fit & active retiree and am loving combining moving around the country looking after various dogs, cats and other animals in their own homes while the owners go off on holiday. My hobbies are running, gym, yoga, gardening, reading and spending time getting to know loads of beautiful pets. Also happy to look after gardens and in the past have done gardening for people as a job.
I have many reviews on kiwihousesitters but new to pawshake. 
Always visit the houseowner before doing a sit to meet and get instructions etc then stay in touch with updates & photos while they are away.
Although I live in Napier now, I grew up in Taranaki but have lived overseas for many years. Have travelled extensively overseas but have now decided I'm happy to stay and explore this amazing country for the foreseeable future and I've found house/pet sitting the ideal way to do it as you get to know the area better than just passing through on holiday. I believe I have the best life spending it with many different beautiful pets without the longterm responsibility (I am very responsible of course) and definitely treat all the animals as if they are mine, and always a little sad to say goodbye.
