Hi, I'm Asli. I'm a PhD graduate of Massey University Genetics, and I love animals of all kind! I have three dogs, a Mix Breed and two Anatolian Shepherds back home with my family that I have raised from puppyhood and trained to be amazing family dogs.
Ever since I've adopted my first dog Tarcin six years ago, I've been fascinated by dogs and started learning about them as much as possible. Over the course of time, I've educated myself on positive training methods developed by Dr Sophia Yin and Dr Patricia McConnell, and taken online lectures on Dog Cognition from Duke University.
I had also volunteered in SPCA Palmerston North between 2014 and 2015 and walked dogs regularly. I closely follow scientific papers on dog cognition and evolution and read the most recent training methods to further my knowledge. I detest the "pack mentality" and "dog whisperer" type of forceful methods that are only good for scarring dogs for life. I believe dogs are family.
I love spending time with all kinds of dogs, taking them for long walks and of course, playing with them! I promise to take care of your furbabies as my own, keep you updated with pictures and answer any questions you might have.
If this sounds like something you're looking for, let me know and we can arrange to meet!
Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my girls and keeping in contact with me each time you were with them. it's so great to know I can relax knowing my furkids are in good hands👏
