My name is Tessa and I live with my husband David only a short 5min walk away from the beach. We are very active people who love to go for runs, hikes, and walks on the beach. If your dog is up for it we would love to take him or her with us :) I work from home so I have full flexibility during the week/weekend to care for your beloved pet as required. We understand how much you love your pets and we will try and do our best to stick to their routine and daily lives when you are away. When living in Auckland we were foster parents for the SPCA and for Saving Hope and were blessed to be looking after kittens and puppies until they found their forever home. In the Netherlands, where I lived before moving here I was also a pet sitter for dogs on this same service and loved every puppy or grown-up fur child that walked through my door. And now we would love to care for your animal too!About My Services: How long are the dog walks or how many do I offer per day etc? It will depend on the needs of your dog. For senior dogs and pups, the walks might just be around the block or at the park. For healthy adult dogs, the walks will be 30 min - 1 hour per walk. Depending on the dogs' fitness level we can also run them alongside the bike.If you hire me to walk your dog I will visit when works best for you and your pet(s) schedule. If you would like them walked more often or they require full-time care, please book an in-home service. >> Dog walk/visit: If I visit your pet(s) I will make sure I spend at least 45min with them. Also happy to feed or administer oral medicine while I'm there.*HOUSE SITTING: Includes occasional trips on dog-friendly hikes and beaches (in addition to regular walks) if applicable I can retrieve your mail, take out trash/recycling, water your garden, and any other needs your home may require.*DAILY updates and pictures are provided with each booking if you'd like to stay in the loop :)Please let me know if you want more details or information!Can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)!Kind regards,Tessa and David

I couldn't have asked for a better person to look after my fur baby. My dog suffers from seizures and after meeting Tessa I was left confidant that my dog would be safe, well cared for and happy while in her care and Tessa didn't prove me wrong. I was out of town for a wedding and at no time did I worry about my doggo. Good luck in your future adventures, it was lovely meeting you and thank you for caring for Little Miss Violet in the way you did.
