Kia ora,

I'm a 25 year old Kiwi, who was raised in rural Germany. So, I grew up around all kinds of (farm) animals and spent the majority of my teenage years at horse stables, where there were also a lot of dogs. I've loved dogs ever since I can think and as you can see in my photos I've looked after quite a few in the last couple of years. Most of the dogs (and cats) I've looked after I've met through an app called TrustedHousesitters, which I've mostly used whilst travelling. Animals I've looked after through that app include senior cats and dogs, reactive, large, and small dogs, and pets requiring medication.

There are no other pets in my shared flat. Two out of my three flatmates grew up with pets, so they are comfortable and confident around all sorts of animals. One or those two girls is studying to be a vet nurse at the moment, and it's through her that I learnt of this app. The third flatmate, has less experience with animals, but loves them immensely.
