I was excited to become dog walker as I have been surrounded with animals my whole life including, horses, dogs and cats. It definitely is true that animals have a lasting affect on mood and all round well-being and has proved to have that affect in my life as an animal lover.

Working at a veterinary supply store has helped me gain general pet care, first aid and dog handling knowledge which has also increased my desire to continue in the pet industry. Through this, I have also be able to take online courses to do with various topics such as dog breeds, dog obedience and training and all round animal health. I am aware that all pets carry different characteristics and behaviour so it is my priority to adapt to your pets needs. The environment that I work in continuously allows me to interact with numerous breeds from very small to very large.

My services as a dog walker would include 1 on 1 handling with various tracks and parks that are dog friendly and I have my own transport so I can get to and from my bookings where ever is needed and have an extremely flexible schedule to fit in with almost anyone.

I have 2 not so little lambs that I take for walks regularly, (as my landlord does not allow dogs) so that's the closest animal I'm getting to a dog at this stage! And 2 cats that I adore. I have previously owned a Border Collie that was my best furry friend and loved dearly, then came along my bichon frise who got along well with my Collie. Unfortunately, I had to rehome them both as I moved overseas. While overseas I rescued a dog named feliz that was riddled with fleas and had several litters of puppies. During that time, I cared for her until she was back to health and got her fixed when she was recovered. Truly was a blessing to see the transformation of an animals life for the better.
