*Currently in Christchurch, travelling for the next month and thrilled to pet sit as I do!*

I started dog sitting in high school and have done it off and on for the past 10+ years back home in the states. I have worked with dogs most of my life- I've always had a family dog, and started fostering dogs when I was 8 years old. I was the primary caretaker for puppies and dogs of various ages and sizes. I fostered from elementary school through high school, and started again after college. I have a soft spot for bully breeds and special needs pups, but love dogs of all breeds and sizes and ability.

I worked at a dog rescue for almost a year as a care giver, medical secondary, and assistant kennel manager. We had resident cats we took care of, and for about 5 months we also had adoptable cats that were under our care. At various points in life I've also lived in homes with cats and assisted with their care.

I have a degree in wildlife biology and love all creatures- truly. I have more than 4 years experience working with reptiles, amphibians, and birds of prey, and 1 year experience working with salt and freshwater aquariums for fish, crustaceans, and other invertebrates. 

I am unable to have pets in my home so I offer combined pet and house sitting.
