I've lived in a house full of animals my whole life, cats, dogs, birds, rats, turtles, and since moving back to Wellington my family has welcomed a new member Named Oakley. He's a Kelpie x Whippet Pup who I believe was meant for me and my family! He came into our lives when we all needed a little cheering up and he's helped heal us all.

Some people have a swear jar but for the last 4 years I've had a "Puppy Jar"! The rule is that if I jump onto trade me or Facebook and look at puppies and rescues then I have to put a dollar in the jar. So that when I one day move into my own place I'll have enough to fully fence the property and buy all the things to spoil my puppy.

Walks: Around an hour for the options below I may need to travel to. I will only allow a dog off their lead if I feel confident in their recall on a long lead first and the dog is obedient with me giving commands.

I'm available for walks after 4pm during the weekday and flexible on weekends.

Park - a walk on green grass, on or off leash.

River- a walk by the river, on or off leash, prepare for the dog to come back a lil mucky.

Beach- a walk on the beach, on or off leash, prepare for the dog to come back a lil wet n sandy.

Pavement- a walk in your local area from your house and retuned after 40-45mins

If you have a hose/ shower setup I'm happy to rinse them off at no cost when I return them, but am also happy to give a full bath with soap, dry and nails for an additional cost.

Petsitting/Feeding Visits:

Feeding visits are 30mins, and can visit upto twice daily. Once before I begin work so early hours around 6am-7am and flexible for nighttime feedings depending on who I'm walking that day after my day job ends.

Petsitting at your residence to feed, walk, stimulate, love and look after your pets. I work 7am-3.30 Mon-Fri so I wouldn't be at the house the entire time, just from 5pm onwards. With potentially a couple hours on a particular night that I play netball. While I am pet sitting my family looks after my dog however if you're happy for me to introduce Oakley and bring him that's cool too.

Petsitting at my residence, feed, walk, stimulate, love and look after your pets. Again, the same working schedule as above but my family is in and out while my auntie works from home in a cabin on the property. I would collect your pet and return them to meet and introduce myself in their space. I live with my parents, my auntie and my sister. We have 2 cats and 1 dog, your pet will ideally will sleep either in a crate on on their bed out the lounge with my dog who is in a covered crate or I can put them in their own room. We have a couple of rooms at ours we can keep them seperate in. We also have a completely seperate downstairs flat where my sister lives if your pet needs to get away from mine to decompress.

If you're just looking for someone while you get away on holiday for a few days, I could be your girl!

If you're unable to take your pets out and need a reliable person to exercise and stimulate your pets to allow them to live a fur filling life, I could also be your girl!

I'm also really keen to be someone you can rely on for those stubborn and fearful pets who you may struggle to find someone who can come and mind them while you have an emergency or an important event to attend. I completely understand if a dog just needs to just be feed, walked and left alone. Some may not even allow me to get a lead on so maybe just some fetch outside can be our middle ground. I'd love to be able to help you out!

If you'd like to organise regular walks I'd love to introduce my Dog Oakley to see if we can all go to the river or the park together. Oakley's a huge dog park fan a loves playing with other dogs, he's also great to use to help reactive dogs with training as he's unbothered and will always come back to try and engage again after a growling/bark. He is still only young at a year old however we train regularly every week and I have the utmost confidence I can control him.
