We are a retired couple (Lawrence is English & I am a Kiwi) who love all animals. We prefer sits in the Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Beach areas & rural North Canterbury but we are open to sitting other areas. We have been pet/house/small holding sitting for 3 years & so far we have looked after mainly medium/small size dogs, cats, chooks, Alpacas, sheep, pigs, ducks etc. We also owned a small farmlet in the past. We are happy to carry out other duties such as picking up post and putting out the rubbish & watering indoor/ outdoor plants. We will follow your instructions and keep your pets happy (feeding, clean up, play time, walking & basic grooming).

We offer a live-in house/pet. sitting service with a minimum of 2 nights - no maximum @ $35 per night. 

We have travelled quite a bit mostly UK, Europe & Australia. We were professional Live In Carers in England - looking after elderly people & their pets in their own home. These were short term jobs (2 weeks at a time) so we are used to keeping peoples houses clean & tidy.

For 10 years we worked as Community Support Workers in NZ before retiring 3 years ago.   

We will visit you and your animals beforehand if you are in the Canterbury area. This is a free service. If you require further visits there will be a $10 charge per extra visit.

Rest assured we will follow your instructions, care for your pets and home whilst u r on holiday - giving you peace of mind . We will also keep in touch while you are away sending you updates and photos of your happy pets..
