Carole and Kim enjoy living on their own lifestyle block/apple orchard along with their fur babies- Chino their young Cavalier Lowchen, and Smokey & Bandit their 2 SPCA adopted cats who are brothers. There are also a lot of happy chooks, and plenty of wild birds, pukekos, rabbits in the orchard. We have a comfortable warm home with nice sunny window seats and conservatory for pets to laze their day away and snooze, plus a large fully fenced garden for those with a bit more energy. We are within easy access of Park Island and Pakowhai dog parks, Anderson Park, Doilbel Reserve, Ahuriri, Westshore beach, Clive river and Marine Parade for longer walks, or a 1km walk around the apples.

Carole & Kim run the cat resort on a full time basis along with their vet nurse cat resort manager- Nikita.

Carole has a NZ Certificate in Animal Care-Companion Animals as well as Pet First Aid Certification.

We have both been keen animal lovers all our lives, Kim comes from a strong farming background, and Carole has a background in nursing/midwifery, as well as volunteering and fostering for the SPCA.

We can accomodate cats in our purpose built luxury cat resort-Whiskers & Paws-Luxury Cat Resort, and can care for rabbits, birds and other small animals onsite.

We offer a pet visiting service throughout Hawkes Bay, for feeding/company and we are also available to take pets to and from the vets if required.

Off site visits need to be scheduled around the cat resort open hours-8am-10am and 4pm-6pm.

We currently only accept the occasional small dog as our garden fencing is only 1 metre high.

Please don't be offended when we decline large dogs as our garden doesn't offer enough security with the low fencing.
