Hi there! I’m Arlene. I’m studying Law at the University of Waikato and I love all animals - big, small and everything inbetween! I am currently renting a home and cannot have pets of my own, so I thought that becoming a pet-sitter would be a great way to hang out with furry creatures! I still call my parents to ask how my dog’s day went (and I moved out of home 3 years ago), so I understand how hard it is to leave your pet when you go away, even for a day! I would love to be the person to help ease those worries, with you knowing that your pet is in caring, reliable hands! My hobby is photography, so I’d be happy to take lots of photos of your furbaby for you. Because I am renting, I cannot petsit in my home, however I would be happy to visit your home to make sure your pet/pets are doing okay, feed them, play with them and -gently- smother your pet with love and affection. However, I also respect that some animals don’t have time for that sort of foolishness and I would also be happy to love them from afar and just make sure they know they have been given the attention they deserve. I have had a range of pets throughout my life - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, fish, sheep, chickens and cows - so I would love to petsit any furry creature really! Because I am studying, my schedule varies each day of the week with different lecture times, but on the whole I am pretty flexible! Just give me instructions on any specific needs your baby has and I will happily hang out with them and make sure they are safe while you're away!

We were very happy with Arlene's service, she did a great job feeding our two cats, feeding our fish and attending to a hedgehog we are looking after. She spent time with our cat who likes a bit of extra attention. She was pleasent and friendly, we would definitely request her services again.
