HI I'm Katy and Ive recently moved to Hamilton.

I'm originally from New Plymouth where I grew up with animals. In my 20s I enjoyed the company of dogs, cats and chickens and have taken on elderly animals.

For the passed 7 years I have co-cared and helped to raise Rosko (Staffy, Shar Pei, Ridgeback, Pittball cross) who became my work colleague, (great at removing tree stumps) beach buddy and adventure pooch, as his owner worked long hours.

I have had experience walking and dog sitting. The longest being Jacques the black lab, for 8 months (who became my shadow) while his owners were over seas. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds and have fostered two white boxers while they were looking to be rehomed.

 I'm patient, caring and honest and lead an active lifestyle. Through experience of owning a big dog, I'm great at reading larger dogs (and all sizes) behaviour. This is ideal when walking smaller dogs and am always attentive of their surroundings.

With a house of elderly cats we are unfortunately unable to have a dog. I miss the love, care, interaction and active companionship with dogs so am looking to help others out.

As an animal and dog lover I have recently being walking a friends dog who loves the dog park to get my dog fix. I love taking them to the river, lake and arboretum. I am currently self employed as a landscaper and flexible with hours. I also have a lot experience with cat sitting including a big Main Coon call Thomas.

I am avaliable week days and weekends, for pick ups, drop off and to house / dog sit overnight. I'm great with house plants too!!
