Hello! I'm Unna, I am 22 years old and I work full time Monday to Friday 8am-4pm with 3 days in office and 2 days at home. I have been on board with Pawshake for 3 years now, coming up 4 years in December.

I housesit & offer services for both Feilding & Palmerston North, if you're outside of those two that is negotiable again 😊

Experience:

Since growing up I have always been around pets. Large dogs, small, shy & anxious! Personally speaking I can say no matter the situation I can always make a connection with any pet/s to ensure they feel safe and are comfortable to know they are in a safe place. I have a family household of 4 animals- 1 dog, 2 cats and a rabbit. They’re all such gems and are my best friends. They are the pets that have inspired me to output the same love i have for them to all of the pets i get the chance to interact with. I don’t know what we would do without them.

Services:

What you will get:

- At least 1 x photo update per day. Although I do tend to send more eek! I find it reassuring for owners to see what their pets are doing throughout the day.

- Efficient communication regarding any changes with your pet and if required bringing pets to the vet when agreed to by you or in an emergency.

- Knowledge that your pet is being cared for

What your pet will get:

- Feeding the pet as required

- Access to fresh water

- Dog is able to go to toilet regularly

- Basic Medication (non injectable)

- Pets are kept in a hygienic condition - any messes of the pet are cleaned up, and any signs of illnesss or injury are reported to you

What i expect:

-Any behavioural issues of the pet are disclosed

-Any special requirements or intructions are written down for the sitter to prevent any misunderstanding

-Medication properly labelled, clear dosage instructions and timing (if applicable)

- Emergency contact details (person not travelling with the owner) are provided

- When feeding is required, enough pet food is provided

Dog Walking: I am happy to take dogs for walks and play ball. Walks start at $20 per hour ($5 extra per dog) After a while of getting to know your pet i can also take them to the beach or other off leash areas. Beach trip would be $35 for a few hours (this factors in driving time) I can take them for at least 2 walks a day (30minutes-an hour)

Daily feeding and pictures :

I can check up on and feed your pet up to twice a day for 30-60mins and more when required. If your pet requires any medication i am also happy to administer oral medication. I will take a picture of your fluffy friend so you know they are happy. If you require any household duties to be carried out please opt for a house sitting arrangement and we can discuss the tasks you would like me to carry out (Note: if you dont want me to stay at the property that's fine)

Housesitting:

What I do when house sitting:

Follow your pet’s routine exactly as you describe (feeding times, walks, playtime, meds if needed)

Give plenty of cuddles, enrichment and company so they don’t feel lonely

Keep your home secure, tidy and well-looked after

Water plants, bring in mail and put bins out if needed

Send regular photo updates so you know your pets are relaxed and doing great

Maintain cleanliness and leave the house how you left it (or even tidier!)

I’m respectful of your space, great at communication, and genuinely love building bonds with the pets I care for. Your pets’ wellbeing and your peace of mind are always my top priorities.

Dog boarding:

I offer safe, caring and comfortable dog boarding from my home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Your pup will be treated like part of the family while they’re with me.

What I provide during boarding:

A calm, loving home environment with plenty of attention

Regular toilet breaks, playtime and enrichment

Walks based on your dog’s routine and energy level

Feeding exactly to your instructions

Updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is happy

A clean, secure space where your dog can settle in comfortably
