Kia ora! I’m Lyssa and my ambitions have always been involved with animals. Since I could walk, I was saving animals whether it was bumblebees or spiders or even ducklings that got abandoned. I was always willing to help them no matter what size or colour or even whether they could sting me or bite me. I would absolutely love to care for your animals so you're able to go away and enjoy a nice break from reality. I have a fair experience with birds, cats, dogs, hedgehogs, lizards ( specifically beardies ) and even horses. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 bearded dragons where I live. I put love into all my clients' pets whether big or small. I love them the same as my own pets. 

I can ensure that your animals will be in the most caring and loving hands.

Important note: My partner is my way around until ( fingers crossed ) the end of May so he will be staying with me at housesits ( i still always check with individual clients ). I also suffer with severe nightmares and anxiety sometimes so he's my support person when I struggle.

What you will get:

- At least 1x photo update per day, although knowing me and my love for animals i tend to send more. I think it's reassuring for owners to see their pers enjoying their time with me throughout the day.

- Efficient communication regarding any changes with your pet if required to bringing pets to the vet when agreed to by you or in an emergency

- Knowledge that your pet is being cared for

What your pet will get

- Feeding the pet as required and instructed

- Access to fresh water 24/7

- Able to toilet regularly

- Administering medication ( injectable and non injectable ) if required

- Pets are kept in a hygienic condition - any messes of the pet are cleaned up and any signs of illness or injury are reported to you

What I expect:

- Any behavioural issues of the pet are disclosed

- Any special requirements or instructions are written down for the sitter to prevent any misunderstanding

- Medication properly labelled, clear dosage instructions and timing ( if applicable )

- Emergency contact details ( person not travelling with the owner ) are provided

- When feeding is required enough food is provided for the duration of the housesit
