Hi there! My name is Jen and I live in Calton Hill Dunedin. I own my own home, therefore, I have the freedom and flexibility to mind your pet at my house.
My house is fully fenced and has a large backyard. We are close to the beach, dog parks and have plenty of hiking trails for dogs to enjoy nearby. Your dog/s will never be bored at my home.
I have a couple of pets myself.
Two dogs: a Golden Retriever (4 years old) and a Rough Collie (2.5 years old). Both are obedience trained and have been Otago SPCA Canine therapy dogs. They're extremely friendly and get along with everyone/dog/pet they meet.
I also have a cat, Maple, and a couple of bunnies.
Along with cats and dogs, I am extremely experienced in looking after small pets such as:
- Rabbits & Guinea Pigs
- Chickens, Ducks and all kinds of birds
- Rats & Mice
- Turtles and fish
***Please kindly note: I am unable to house-sit and your pet/s will need to stay with us. I have space for dogs and I have cages for small animals and plenty of food for your dogs and/or small friends - a home away from home!
I provide photo updates of your pet's stay as well.

I can't fault the care that Jen gave Chas during his two week stay. We did a quick meet and greet beforehand which was great. It was obvious that this was going to be a secure and fun place for Chas. Jen was so flexible when we needed to alter our dates and pick up and drop off arrangements, and she was great at reassuring us that things were fine with Chas. Chas himself looked relaxed and happy when we picked him up, and was getting on fine with Jen's dogs. We 100% recommend this sitter and Chas is already eye-ing up his next 'holiday'!
