Hi Everyone!
I just started at the University of Otago and am at heart an animal lover. Growing up rurally I learned to interact with many types of animals including dogs (obviously) and to appreciate their moods and body language. I am a firm believer that animals make the best company and would love to work with them now that I have moved for study and am no longer able to see mine. If I am being completely honest one of the things I miss most about home is my pets and I would love to start building new relationships with other animals.
Unfortunately, as I am living in a university college presently I will not be able to board or care for pets at my home. However, I am more than happy to walk, take to dog parks, care for and pets and house sit. This includes feeding, easy medications (like flea treatments), picking up mail, watering plants and light cleaning. The duration of walks can be anything up to 2 hours depending on the dog's fitness. I am more than happy to visit for up to 2 hours as well and house sit for several days if needed. My availability is best in the mornings however I am happy to work my schedule around if care is needed in the afternoon or evening.
Previous experience is mostly with horses however we owned dogs, cats and other stock growing up. I have my PC B Certificate, have worked as a groom and have been competitive across several disciplines including, eventing, pleasure, show jumping, show hunter and games.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or queries.
Many Thanks
