Hi, my name is Rachel. Animals have always been a big part of my life. As a qualified veterinary nurse with over twenty years experience in small and large animal practices, I work closely with animals every day and can confidently recognise any changes in your pets health, while under my care. I enjoy the company of animals and love meeting new clients and their pets and having the responsibility of taking care of our patients. I am also very fortunate to have been able to help with wildlife including yellow eyed/crested/snares penguins, many sea birds, seals, kereru, hedgehogs, hawks, owls and reptiles and the like.

I can offer home visits and happy to get mail, water plants etc. Also boarding of exotic and pocket pets. I work full time in Dunedin as a veterinary nurse and can do one to two visits per day. I am happy to house sit and look after pets also. I currently live in Opoho, Dunedin and I have two dogs, one cat, chickens and guinea pigs. I have a current drivers licence and a reliable vehicle.
