Working with animals is my passion and favorite thing to do! I have experience walking and loving on dogs and cats of all sizes and love making new animal friends. Currently, I am working towards a master's degree in Marine Science and studying the distribution of Hector's dolphins. Before moving to New Zealand, I spent two years caring for critically endangered sea turtle hatchlings and monitoring and handling nesting sea turtles. I also spent over a year feeding and providing daily care for farm animals, including goats, kunekune pigs, horses, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and turkeys, and I have years of experience as a babysitter, petsitter, and camp counselor. I have administered oral medicines to dogs and cats and ointments on farm animals, as well as provided basic grooming services like nail clipping, brushing, and bathing. I am detail-oriented, gentle, and patient, so I can accomodate any quirks or shyness your pets may have!

I have a dog and two cats at home in the United States that I miss dearly and used to walk and play with every day. Therefore, I understand how stressful it can be to entrust someone else with your pet and how much it means to have someone who loves and cares for your pet as much as you do. I am happy to discuss details and meet you and/or your pet beforehand to make sure everything is in order. I love being outdoors and can take your pet anywhere near your house, such as the beach or a nearby hiking trail.
