Hello!
My name is Jenna and I am in my final year at the University of Otago. I am studying Zoology and Psychology.
I love all animals and have owned a range of pets such as dogs, cats, fish, and mice! I also have professional experience with animals from working at a wildlife park where I was lucky enough to work with native birds, trout and other farm animals (such as sheep, pigs, deer, and goats). I currently have a 6 year old border collie rescue, a lot of fish, and a leopard gecko.
I volunteer with a local dog rescue charity by fostering pound dogs until their forever home is found. through this, I have met and cared for a range of dogs from 12 weeks old to 10+ years old. It has provided me with experience with many dog breeds and personalities too. This work is very rewarding and I love to be able to help these dogs have a second chance.
Currently, as my own dog is getting older and a bit arthritic, I cannot offer sleepovers or daycare at my house. However, I’more than happy to spend the night with your animals to keep them company!
I have four tropical fish tanks of my own, so if your fish need feeding or the tank needs maintenance, I’m your girl!
I want to be a pet sitter as I believe I am trustworthy, caring and experienced with many different animals. I want to provide a safe and trustworthy service for people who want to leave their pets in safe hands, as this is what I look for with my own pets. It is hard enough to leave our pets behind when we go away, but knowing your pet will be in good hands and well cared for makes it that little bit easier!
Thanks for reading, I look forward to hearing from you! :-)
Jenna was absolutely a pleasure to have look after our dogs and we came home and the dogs were very happy. Jenna communicated well and responded to my texts really quickly and even sent me photos. I appreciate Jenna, spending her own time looking after our dogs and would love to book her again if ever the need arose. Thank so much Jenna.
Jenna was amazing! She looked after our puppy while we were at a family wedding and sent us updates along the way. Ava seemed very happy when we came home :)
