About me

I'm 33, a huge animal lover and pet parent. I’m part of the PSNZ (Pet Sitting NZ) association which holds the highest standards of pet sitting in New Zealand.

Animal welfare is deeply rooted in my values and I’m committed to providing care that not only keeps your pets happy and safe at home but also contributes to the animal welfare community. Through pet sitting, I support rehoming, desexing, and vaccination efforts, and proudly donate 100% of profits to local animal rescue organisations.

I have two fur babies myself: a cat, Bonnie, who is 15, and a dog, Violet, who is 5. Both are rescues and are now living a very lush life being spoilt with love.

I love the idea of pet sitting because I know from experience how hard it is to leave your precious fur babies when you go away and the amount of trust you have to put in someone else to keep your home and pets safe. I'd love to be able to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, loved and cared for so you can enjoy your time worry-free.

When we head away without our fur babies I LOVE getting updates on what they're up to, and would love to provide the same experiece to you while you're away so you know they're being looked after and are happy.

Services

Home Visits - Feeding:
I am available to pop around for meal times, once or twice daily, let them out for the bathroom, and can also make sure they are inside at night if they have a curfew.

Please note travel costs may be incurred depending on location.

Home Visits - Day Stay/Overnight Stay:
If you require someone to be home with your pets during the day, I do have the ability to work from home twice a week so can bring my laptop and work remotely. This ensure your pets are comfortable in their safe space. This service is particularly suitable for pets who need to supervision while you're at work eg. post-surgery, injury or new puppies. I am happy to administer medication if required. 

I am also available to stay overnight at your home so you can enjoy your trips away knowing your pets are happy and safe in their own enviroment. For multiple days please enquire and I can let you know the total cost. My overnight rates start from $100 for the first night, additional days/nights will be between $50-100 depending on the requirements.

If you have a velcro dog like mine, I'm also available for shorter evening stays at your home for evening events - concerts, date nights etc.

Basic Command Training:
While looking after your dog, I can offer basic command training (sit, stay, leave it, down, place, come) and some fun tricks too (touch, spin, shake, fetch, etc.). Please note that I am not a qualified trainer, and these are commands I have successfully taught our dog. This is at no additional cost for day/overnight stays but please let me know if this is something you'd like me to provide.
