Kia Ora! I’m Klara — a 23 year old lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets. I grew up on a ranch in Montana, USA, surrounded by animals big and small — from chickens and livestock to dogs, cats, and horses. I even spent four years competing in equestrian events. So whether your pet has hooves, paws, or feathers, I’m confident and comfortable in their care.

I have experience raising and helping train younger dogs, but I also have a special place in my heart for senior pups — my own family dog is a sweet older girl, and I miss her dearly while I’m away from home. I’m also a lifelong cat person and have cared for both indoor and outdoor cats throughout my life.

Over the years, I’ve provided pet care for a wide range of animals in different homes and environments in both paid professional and volunteer settings, boasting over 20 five-star ratings. I genuinely love forming connections with new animals and their humans, and I take pride in being reliable, respectful, and gentle with every pet in my care.

✅ Services I Offer:

House Sitting: I can stay in your home full-time while you’re away, keeping your pets company and your home secure. I’ll follow your usual routine, provide daily updates, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and love. I also bring in mail, water plants, and maintain a tidy space. I take basic home security measures seriously, such as locking doors/windows, and being present as much as possible. I have over five years of experience in professional property management, so know what it takes to run a safe and secure home.

Home Visits: I offer home visits typically lasting 30–60 minutes depending on your pet’s needs. During visits, I’ll feed, clean up after, play with, and cuddle your pets. I can also water plants, bring in the mail, and administer basic medications (oral or topical, as instructed).

Dog Walking: My dog walks usually last 30–60 minutes and can be tailored to suit your pup’s energy level. I prefer walking in safe, pet-friendly areas such as local parks or quiet neighborhood routes. If your pup is a fan of the beach there's nothing I like more than a beach excursion! I always ensure your dog is well-exercised, mentally stimulated, and has a chance for some fun sniffing along the way!

Medication & Special Care: I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications, and I have experience caring for senior pets and those with specific dietary or health needs.

Training & Grooming: While I’m not a professional trainer or groomer, I’m happy to reinforce basic training commands and help maintain your pet’s grooming routine (like brushing, wiping paws, etc.).

I’m generally flexible with my availability and I’ll always work with your schedule to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need when they need it.
