My wife and I have three kids are aged 7, 11 and 11, and we have a good natured four year old female Beardie called Deejay. We've had dogs all our lives and have experience with most types.

We live close to Long Bay beach where we take our dog for an off-leash run and socialise most mornings. If your dog is in to that sort of thing then we'd take them as well. We have a fully fenced property with shelter and shade where dogs can hang out during the day, but when we're home (we work from home most days) we're happy with dogs inside. At night our dog sleeps in a crate in our garage, and we have space where we can put your dogs crate/basket in there as well. We have a strong preference for dogs that are crate trained.

We’ve used Pawshakes ourselves, and we know how hard it can be to find a place you feel good about to put your dog when going on holiday.

Our dog likes having friends for a sleepover, and our kids will lather any visiting dog with plenty of attention. We can also send photos/updates, and if you'd like my daughter might even make a TikTok video for you.
