About me
I am in my mid fifties and recently retired after a career as a personal support worker. I have owned pets my entire life and have always had several in the home. The current pet count is seven, with one Saint Bernard, one Scottish Deerhound puppy and five chickens. 

I have always been the unofficial pet sitter of the family, whether it is having pets with separation anxiety stay with me while their owners are at work or having pets for several weeks while their owners are travelling. I start my day with a dog walk either up the hills or at the dog park and with my new free time I realised there is no better way to spend my days than with my pets, so I might as well expand the pack and borrow a few. 

My eleven year old dog passed earlier this year and had numerous health issues that required daily medication and special accommodations. The experiences caring for him combined with my career as a support worker means that I have the patience to care for any dog that might require some extra love, attention and medication to live their best life.

Being newly retired I have plenty of availability and have no commitments taking me out of the home for more than an hour at a time. 

The house
Private back section on a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced grassed backyard and a separate fully fenced concrete area. Pets have full reign of the house and would sleep indoors either in the guest bedroom or lounge area depending on space requirements. 

Your pet
Will be attentively cared for, be able join myself and my dog on our daily walks and river swim. Depending on the needs of the dog I can do multiple 30 minute walks a day, or one longer walk. These walks can be on lead around the streets or I can transport them to the local dog park for a walk and river swim, or a walk up the hills, whichever is your preference. I do ask that any dogs are quiet, vaccinated, and fixed.

Rates

$60 overnight stay at my home, $20 for additional pet maximum of two total.

$35 daycare

$25 long walk

$30 one house visit, $40 for two.
