Hi, I’m Kate ☺️

I’m a young professional offering pet sitting and dog walking services. I work as a graduate civil engineer during the week (Monday to Friday, 8–4:30) but outside of work hours I love caring for animals and helping people keep their pets safe and happy while they’re away.

I’ve always adored animals, having grown up with a pet cat, dog, guinea pigs, and budgie. I’m originally from Tauranga but moved to Christchurch for university and decided to stay here for work afterwards. In my spare time, I volunteer at the SPCA, caring for cats and bunnies.

While I’d love to have a pet of my own, I’m planning to travel in a couple of years, so pet sitting is the next best thing! I’m experienced with pet care and have provided house sitting and drop-in services for others in the past.

A bit about me: I enjoy spending time outdoors and love going hiking and swimming when I can. I also like to crochet, read, play guitar, and watch tv shows to relax. I’m a social person and love spending time with family and friends too.

I understand how important trust is when it comes to leaving your pets and home with someone. I’m always happy to meet beforehand to get to know you and your pets, and to go over any special requirements or instructions.
