Hello! My name is Sofia, I’m originally from Portugal and have been living in beautiful Aotearoa for the past 7 years. I’m currently studying medicine full-time and love using my spare time to decompress in nature, especially with a furry friend by my side!

For two incredible years, I had the joy of being part of Mia's life, my dog, during this time we explored the best bush walks and beaches around. My cat Bjorn is currently in Dunedin with my partner and since moving here, I’ve really missed that daily connection and would absolutely love to help care for your pets, whether it’s taking them on fun outings, keeping them company at home, or looking after them while you’re away.

My experience comes from caring for my own dog and cat and regularly walking or pet-sitting for friends when they’ve been out of town. I genuinely love animals and take pride in making sure each one feels safe, loved, and entertained.

Dog Walking: I’m happy to walk your dog for up to an hour. Whether your pup prefers a chilled wander around the block or an adventure to the beach or bush, I’m happy to tailor the outing to suit their energy and personality. I’ll make sure they get a chance to stretch their legs, sniff to their heart’s content, and have a great time out and about.

Drop-ins & Pet Sitting: I’m available for house sits and drop-in visits to give your pets company, cuddles, or care while you’re out.
