• About Myself:
• I am a trained and experienced teacher who now works for The MOE in a specailist teaching position in Kaiapoi and Rangiora.

I live in Northwood- Christchuch and have recently moved form Palmerston North.

• I have a beautiful burmese cat - Ava and she is three years old. I enjoy working with students and animals. I grew up with dogs and cats in our family home and would like to own a dog one day soon.

I am looking for someone to look after Ava in her own home when I visit my family up north. I am also interested in tending to other pets as know it can be a stress and a worry when you are away from them.

About my experience

• I am new to the pet-sitter role but I am familiar with dog care and cats. I am very active and love the outdoors so it is ideal to run dogs and give them some exercise. This way I get to enjoy the company of dogs without owning my own yet!

I have always owned a cat as an adult and undertand there different personailities and their unquie needs.

I have often house sat and looked after my sister's dogs - one being a Saint Bernard and my brother's dogs.

About my services

• I can offer house visits to feed, play and walk your pet. I can visit twice a day since I am a early bird and wake early for morning runs before work. I genearlly run for 10kms per day.

I can come to stay if needed for short visits as I have a commitment for my own pet and she is best kept in her own home. I can not offer pets at home - due to my own cat's needs.

I have a passion for the outdoors and live fitness and running. So more than happy to run dogs of all sizes.

Im patient, have an empathic nature. I have a real understanding for animals and can relate to the bond and attachment people have with their loved ones. Ava my lilac burmese is just gorgeous and means the world to me. I like to know when I go away that my cat is in good hands with someone I trust. I can provide that for you and your loved one.
