Hi, I’m Triin (sounds like treen)— a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. My husband and I even spent over a year fostering dogs through Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue, giving everything from boisterous youngsters to gentle seniors a safe and loving home while they waited for their forever families.

Matt (my husband) and I can’t have our own dog right now as we travel a bit so looking after your dog would be the perfect way for us to get the much-needed dose of tail wags, pats and cuddles.

I’m mostly looking for longer stays — ideally a week or more — but I’m happy to consider shorter bookings too. In the best case, I’d love to be able to take your dog to work with me when needed (not for a full day, 2-4h maximum). It’s a calm, friendly small office environment where your dog could have their own comfy basket and space to relax. I just ask that they’re not overly barky and are generally happy and calm around people. I can also work from home but do prefer to go to the office. Again I'm very happy to adjust depending on your dog's personality.

On sunny Sunday afternoons, we sometimes head to our local pub, Moon Under Water, and it would be a lovely bonus if your dog could join us there. We’d sit outside to keep things relaxed and low-stress, so it’s important they’re comfortable and friendly in social settings. Of course, this isn’t a requirement — just a little extra fun if it suits your dog’s personality.

I’m always happy to meet in person and show you our home so you can see where your dog will be staying. We’re a couple in our late thirties, small business owners, and we have heaps of experience with dogs — including over a year fostering with Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue.

We don't have any other pets or people living in our 4 bedroom house.

I prefer dogs up to 25kg but will consider all. If your dog has behavioural challenges then our home is not the perfect match unfortunately.
