Hi, I’m Macka! I am a 21-year-old female with a very active lifestyle and a genuine love for animals. I enjoy staying busy and spending time outdoors, which makes pet sitting a perfect fit for me. I am a keen runner and regularly participate in half marathons, alongside functional fitness training five days a week. This means I have the energy, commitment, and discipline to provide pets with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attentive care.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love of spending time with animals and my understanding of how important it is for pet owners to feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to understand their individual personality, routine, and needs. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed, I adjust my approach to ensure they feel comfortable and supported.

I am experienced in managing different pet personalities and care requirements, including feeding routines, medication instructions if required, exercise needs, and maintaining familiar habits. During house visits, walks, and overnight stays, I focus on creating a calm and positive environment by sticking to the pet’s usual schedule, providing plenty of attention and reassurance, and keeping their surroundings clean and safe. For overnight stays, I aim to make pets feel at home by offering companionship, consistency, and comfort throughout the day and night.

The services I provide include house visits (once or twice daily), 30-minute walks, and overnight stays. I am comfortable caring for all dog breeds and households with multiple pets.

I have previous pet-sitting experience, including caring for a Golden Poodle for six weeks while their family was overseas, two Golden Retrievers for two weeks, and a Black Labrador on multiple occasions for two-week stays. These experiences have helped me build confidence in managing different routines, temperaments, and care needs.

For the safety and wellbeing of all animals in my care, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home.
