Using all my experience as a former teacher, sometimes working in classrooms with 40 children at one time, the ability to nurture, care and adapt to your pets needs will come as second nature.

As someone with a profound emphasis on fun and friendliness, make no mistake that I'll do anything I possibly can to ensure that your pets are not only looked after to the highest standard, but that they are done so with joy -- for all parties -- in mind.

Having grown up with dogs in the family, my attachment to them started from an early age with many of my earliest memories spending time with my Uncle's gorgeous Doberman, Dominic. Unconditional love is certainly something not to be underestimated, and it's because of such a deep-set appreciation for dogs (and animals of all kinds), that I'm certain I'd be able to form very close bonds with yours too, if given the chance.

As a current cat owner, and as someone who has looked after many feline friends in the past, if you also require any needs for your own cats, I'd be just as happy to help.

In the Christchurch area, specifically, I have house-sat for various different dogs of all ages and sizes, all of whom I have formed very tight relationships with, alongside their owners. Tailoring the experience to an owner's exact requirements and requests has been key to such a development.

All in all, including past and present pet-sitting, I've acquired at least three years experience.

Flexibility is a key factor to determining who you may hire for your needs, and I'd like to think I can offer more than most. Available for you to contact at any time of day or night if ever you need a last-minute pair of hands, I'll be there ready and waiting for your instructions. Communication, too, another key value I believe essential.

It goes without saying, but because of my vast childcare experience, I am also confident and capable in all types of home.

Finally, included in my house-sitting costs is a personalised framed photograph of your pet(s), in addition to the peace of mind that comes with a secure, safe, and tidy household on your return.
