If you'd like to keep your pet(s) at home while you're away, I can assist with once or twice daily home visits.
I have a broad range of experience with animals both large and small including birds. I'm a qualified Veterinary Nurse and I work casual shifts at a local veterinary clinic. My husband and I have a little boy who keeps us on our toes! We share our home with three cats. One adopted us after the 2010 Christchurch earthquakes and another is a neighbourhood cat that treats our home as his winter palace! We also share our backyard with three raucous chickens. For several years, I've been a regular volunteer at Orana Wildlife Park, the Cats Protection League cattery and the South Island Wildlife Hospital.
I can visit your pet(s) at home once or twice a day. When visiting once a day, I usually do this in the evening between 5pm and 9pm although if required I can be flexible with the timing of this visit. Each visit is between 30-45 minutes in duration. I love animals and birds, so I'll happily spend time with your pet(s) while also taking care of their dietary requirements, administering any medications and cleaning up.
I'm also able to help your dog(s) stretch their legs with daily walks. Each walk is between 45-60 minutes long.
Perfect care as always, thanks Averlea:)
I look forward to Averlea's photo updates! I feel safe knowing my dogs are getting the care needed and goes above and beyond to help them. She is an excellent pet sitter, love her work.
