Hello dog owners! My name is Sarah and I am a huge fan of dogs - I love spending time, playing with and walking dogs but unfortunately don't have one in my life at the moment. My partner and I have recently bought our first house so finally we are able to welcome dogs into our home, free from the restrictions of renting! I work from home, so am well placed to host dogs for the day. A little buddy to keep me company while I work and to help enforce regular play breaks sounds great to me. Although I have never owned a dog, I have had experience working with dogs in Canada as a musher (dog sled guide), where I sledded and worked with 183 dogs. I have also volunteered at the SPCA and Dogwatch with all sorts of dogs. I have experience exercising, socialising, feeding and medicating dogs and I can't wait to meet you and your dogs!
Dog day care
I offer a dog day care service, where the owner can drop their dog to my house and I will look after it for the day. I work from home, so the dog will have free reign of the backyard (fully fenced) or they may hang out with me while I work inside. I will feed and administer medications as required, and will have regular cuddle/play breaks. At lunchtime I will take the dog for a walk of your chosen length - or I can also run with the dog if that is your preference. I live near lots of parks and trails so there are plenty of options for fun walks!
Dog sitting
A dog sitting service is also available, for an overnight stay. Dogs will be able to sleep either outside, in a (comfortable) shed or inside (depending on the dog). It is recommended that you bring your dogs preferred bed for them. As per the dog day care above, during work hours the dog will have free reign of the backyard (fully fenced) or they may hang out with me while I work inside. I will feed and administer medications as required, and will have regular cuddle/play breaks. I will take the dog for a walk of your chosen length - or I can also run with the dog if that is your preference. I live near lots of parks and trails so there are plenty of options for fun walks! If your dog is up for larger adventures and they are with me during the weekend, please let me know and I will be happy to arrange a hike!

Sarah has looked after our pup a number of times and he’s always so excited to see her and very happy when we pick him up at the end of the day so we know he loves his time with her. Sarah is easy to communicate with and really responsive. Will absolutely continue to book with sarah for care of our dog.
