About Us!

Hi, we are Lucy and Finlay. We have moved to Christchurch from Scotland in January. For the last 18 months we have been travelling including cycling across Europe -from the French coast to the Romanian coast - and backpacking in South America. We are energetic and love being in the outdoors - even when it's raining! Believe me, we are used to it coming from Scotland! We have always enjoyed the company of animals and loved meeting furry friends during our travels.

We have been active on Pawshake since our arrival and absolutely love meeting lots of new people and pets so if we can assist in any way, we gladly will.

Our Service

We have recently started working in part-time casual roles. This gives us the flexibility to try and work our shifts around the needs of your pets. There are also 2 of us, so that means there is a good chance 1 of us will be available when required and if we are both available, that just means double the attention! We are happy to pop in to check on your pet or take them out for long walks. Being close to Hagley Park and St Alban's park means we can take your pet out to some green space too!

Also if your pet is used to having company all day during the day, we are more than happy to sit in with them should you require it.

We have experience with rescue animals and understand that each animal has their own specific needs. We will do whatever is required to help make you and your pet comfortable with us.

Which Animals can we look after?

We really enjoy looking after animals. Growing up at home Lucy not only had a dog and cat but also a snake, fish, gerbil and guinea pigs at various times. Finlay also spent summers helping on his family farm so we would love to offer any assistance we can to your pet, whatever shape or size!
