I have many years of experience in pet sitting, as well as house and farm sitting. My background is in agriculture and I have a bachelor's degree in animal sciences with a concentration in behavior and wellbeing. I've taken care of a wide array of animals from young to very elderly. Dogs, cats, birds, rodents, horses, and many farm animals!
I've had lots of pets over the years, and understand very well the concern owners feel for their animals when they are busy, or gone on holiday. Animals in my care will receive the upmost amount of attention, walks or play-time that they desire.
For dog boarding: Me and my husband enjoy a spacious backyard, fully fenced. We do have carpet in the house, so will only take potty-trained pets, but are understanding when accidents happen due to excitement, nervousness, or age. No restriction of dog size, I am used to very small to very large breeds. Vaccinations are preferred if pet stays at my house, but not required if your fur baby has minimal to no behavioral issues. Cats and other small pets are also welcome to board.
Thorough and/or frequent updates will be given as much as you prefer to receive. I hope that you will feel very comfortable that your pets are in professional and competent hands.
Amelia was great and went above and beyond for our furry friend. We will definitely use in the future.
Amelia was an awesome host to my fur babies and kept me regularly informed of how they were going throughout the day along with lovely photos :) Would definitely recommend and would use her for pet sitting again!!! Thank you so much for loving them while I was away!!
