Hi, my name is Kate originally from Cornwall, UK, I’m 34 and I am an animal lover through and through. I myself have two dogs, a cat, a horse and 2 leopard geckos. In the past I have house sat peoples property for up to 6 weeks at a time, looking after all sorts of animals from pigs, sheep, dogs, cats, horses, cows, fish, lizards, rodents to name a few! I used to know the feeling of 'mum guilt' all to well when I found my self at work for longer periods than planned, knowing that my high energy dog was at home needing a good run, with dog day cares being in short supply in our area, I knew there was a real need in Katikati for a reliable companion for our pets during the day.

Drop ins - Leaving an animal during the day for some of us makes us anxious, I'm available to take the anxiety away for you by visiting your pet, feeding and exercising if needed and most importantly, providing cuddles and love. Visits will take 40mins approx., during my visit ill text when I arrive, send photos of your pet and if taking for a walk I will send you a GPS map of our adventure. If it is too hot to walk the pavement I may opt to take your dog(s) to the park or play in your backyard this can be discussed at our initial consultation. I can also feed, water, clean out enclosures and brush your pet.

I can also offer horse feeding, rugging and fence moving, I am experienced with other stock too, sheep, cows, chickens etc.

House sitting - I cannot stay overnight due to commitments to my own animals, however if you are going on holiday and leaving behind a cat, small animals, fish, reptiles plants etc I am happy to pop in once or twice a day. I can also collect post, open/shut curtains, turn lights off and on, putting the bins out etc. Giving the home the impression that it is still being lived in whilst you are away, I will text when I arrive, take pictures and send them to you and text when I leave for your piece of mind. I also have an unmarked car for added security.

I passed a police check recently for a seasonal job, I can provide that certificate if needed.
