Denise

 Hi there,

I am Denise and I am a caring, responsible animal lover. I live in Matua and have been a Petsitter for five years with
Pawshake. I offer services in Matua and the near surrounding suburbs eg Otumoetai, Bellevue. I now have several regular clients. I have recently reduced my hours of work which means I am now able to offer most mornings, afternoons and early evenings.

I live with my husband and my son and daughter are away at university. I have worked as a community worker for many years (eg Barnardos and Plunket) and these roles mean that I have been police vetted extensively.

My motivation for being a Petsitter with Pawshake is that I really enjoy the company of cats and dogs. I grew up with lots of pets and dogs have always been part of my life, alongside rabbits, guinea pigs, budgies and even a
tortoise. I fostered rescued kittens for the SPCA for several years and through this I adopted two gorgeous ginger kittens who are now four years old. Our beloved labradoodle Charley is nearly 15 but is still active and playful.

Several pet owners have said that their cats related well to me from the outset, cats seem to like me!! I can do one or two home visits a day and the visits are a minimum of thirty minutes each. I have minded kittens and elderly cats, feral cats and smoochy cats, outdoor and indoor cats. As well as feeding, watering and cleaning litter trays I am happy to interact with your cat by brushing, tlc or playtime if this is what they like. I have enjoyed doing home visits to several dogs and these visits have included puppy training, brushing, dog walking, giving tablets and playtime in addition to feeding, watering and poop scooping.

I am happy to collect mail or put out bins or give plants a quick water by negotiation. I would be happy to feed and water other small pets in the home.

As a pet owner myself I understand that it is important to find the right person to care for your pets. I always meet and
greet prospective new clients before a booking. I believe that it is important to get to know your pets and their individual needs. I am reliable and conscientious and I am happy to meet and answer your questions about what I offer.
