Hi, I’m Mel. I live in Orākei, just five minutes from Mission Bay beach. I’m vegan and an animal lover. I work from home, and part of my daily routine is going for two walks, one in the morning and one in the evening, so I can happily take your little dog out for a stroll during their overnight stay. During the day, I have a secure outdoor area where they can play freely off-leash. They’ll also have my company all day, with playtime, enrichment, and plenty of cuddles. I know you’ll miss them, so I send regular videos to keep you updated while they’re with me. For everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated and dewormed dogs. Please bring their crate, bed, food for the night, and any favourite toy so they can feel at home. I can provide water and treats if you’d like.

Your dog’s day includes structured play, feeding at regular times if needed, and quiet rest breaks to recharge. I use positive reinforcement and gentle guidance so each pup feels secure and happy. Social dogs enjoy group play, while shy or older ones get calm, one-on-one attention tailored to their needs.

🌙 Night Care

At night, dogs settle into cosy individual sleeping areas with comfy bedding. I only look after one dog or two from the same household per night. They’ll have fresh water, a calm environment, and gentle supervision to keep them relaxed and safe. For pups who need extra reassurance, I do quiet check-ins and soothing care so they can rest peacefully.

My goal is to give your furry friend a happy, stress-free stay and to give you peace of mind with regular updates throughout their time here.
