Hi, I'm Rebecca!

I'm currently working hospitality in Takapuna, and my shifts can be variable - up to 8 hours, most commonly 3pm to 10pm. I get my roster two weeks in advance, so I can let you know what my movements will be as soon as I know myself. I am still happy to do house-sitting and home visits on days I am working if you and your pet are flexible with meal times!

I currently only offer home visits to repeat clients, as I have found it makes for a much better experience to spend some time getting to know pets in a petsitting capacity before doing short visits.

I believe the bond between a pet and their owner is an extremely important part of health and wellbeing for pet owners. My parents always had pets when I was growing up, and I learned young to be responsible for the care of cats, dogs, fish, mice and guinea pigs. Since moving out, I have been lucky to find rentals that have allowed my cat Mickey to rule the house.

I have experience catsitting and dogsitting for family and friends for up to two weeks, including giving medication to elderly or special needs cats and dogs. I've also had a few Pawshake bookings now, and am more than happy to make sure any first-time bookers are totally comfortable and familiar with the processes in place.

I also have experience walking multiple dogs, and I know how important it is to understand the family dynamics for a good walkies experience!

I live in Takapuna with Gloss and 2 other flatmates, but am absolutely willing to travel! I have my full license and a car, so a little drive is no problem.
