Hello! We're Sophia and José —responsible, friendly, and deeply respectful of other people’s spaces and furry family members.

I’m a New Zealander, and José is Chilean, and we both have a love for animals, nature, and quiet, tidy living. We house sit because we enjoy helping people feel at ease while they’re away, knowing their home and pets are in safe, capable hands.

Sophia has over 10 years of experience caring for animals and maintaining properties of all kinds. Her background includes working with dogs (from training and walking to kennel management), cats, farm animals, and even bees! She has also worked in local council animal care, and understands the importance of routine, calmness, and safety in keeping pets happy while their owners are away. José is an avid dog lover, has grown up with dogs and spent years dogsitting in his neighborhood Lo Barnechea, in Santiago, Chile. We both have traveled through Chile pet/housesitting, and now we are doing the same in beautiful NZ!

If you choose us as your sitter, you can expect clear communication, daily updates if desired, and the peace of mind that your home will be clean, secure, and well-loved in your absence. We treat every house sit as a privilege, and care for each pet as if they were our own. Whether your pets need play, medication, walks, or just some quiet companionship, we'll be there to ensure they’re happy and well cared for.
