Hello! We're Ben and Lulu, a responsible father-daughter team with a shared passion for providing a safe, fun, and loving home-away-from-home for your furry family member. 🐶😁

Lulu is a natural-born pet lover, and her dedication over the last five years with our own pets has shown incredible responsibility. Ben brings over a decade of experience caring for dogs, both back in China and here in New Zealand.🇳🇿 🇨🇳

Your pup will join our gentle family pack: Simba, our 5-year-old Ragdoll cat (who is famously dog-chill!), and Moka, our friendly 4-year-old Jack Russell. We've also cared for a senior mini poodle, so we're comfortable with dogs of most ages and temperaments.🐱🐕

We live in a flat in Greenlane 🎄💐💦with a fully-fenced, secure yard (with sectioned gates for added supervision) and a sheltered patio for relaxing. Best of all, we're right next to One Tree Hill, with an off-leash area practically on our doorstep!

What we offer: 

1. A morning and evening walk - evening walk might include mountain climbing (a common activity we do with our dogs), and both walks last around one hour. 🚶♀️
2. We can offer basic training reinforcement during our time together. 
3. We will board a maximum of two dogs at a time to ensure each dog is well catered for and under supervision. 🐕🐕
4. A meet and greet- to clarify any questions and to make sure your dog had a comfortable stay at our house. 👯

All these can be altered if your pet has special needs xx.😙

What we require of your dog:

• Desexed - to ensure that every dog is safe and to prevent accidents from occurring

• Toilet trained
• Small to medium breed
• Social and friendly with other dogs and a calm cat 🐈

Our Experience with Medication: 💊

Yes, absolutely. Ben has direct experience administering oral medications, topical treatments, and eye/ear drops from our time caring for our senior mini poodle. We are meticulous about following your instructions on dosage, timing, and method. During our meet and greet, we will carefully note all medical needs and confirm your vet's details.

Your pet’s safety is our top priority. We handle this with a prepared, level-headed approach:

Prevention First: Our home is fully secured and dogs are always supervised. We are attentive to your pet’s normal behavior to spot any changes quickly.

Our Immediate Action Plan:

Step 1 — Contact You: You will be our first call to explain the situation and decide together on the best next step.

Step 2 — Quick Research & Action: If immediate vet care is needed and we cannot reach you, we will instantly locate the nearest open veterinary clinic or emergency hospital (such as VSA Sylvia Park in Mt Wellington, VSA Auckland West in Lincoln) and take your pet there without delay. One of us will drive while the other contacts you with updates.

Step 3 — Stay With Your Pet: One of us will remain at the clinic with your pet at all times to provide comfort and relay information.
