**PLEASE NOTE: We are not taking regular weekly daytime dog sitting bookings or long term bookings, for example two weeks or more. We have quite a full schedule and we don't want to let people and their pets down. We are best able to provide dogsitting on occasional weekdays and weekends. Thanks for your understanding. **

ABOUT US 

We'd love to take care of your dog or cat. My 14 year old son and 11 year old daughter have been begging to get a dog or cat but our circumstance won't allow for a new permanent member of our family so we'd be happy to shower yours with love and affection. As we don't have any pets ourselves, there is no worry about conflict, and we'll only sit/walk one families' pets at a time. You can be guaranteed that your pet will be the star of our home! We are a fit healthy family and will ensure that dogs get fresh air and walks every day.  

LOCATION AND TIMING

We have a comfortable tidy home in central Auckland that is convenient for drop off and pick ups. I may be able to help with this in some cases. We have a fully fenced yard and are walking distance to off-leash parks, like Watling Park and Big King Reserve. I work full-time, with a few days working from home and my kids go to local schools. We can pet sit on occasional weekdays when I'd be working from home during the day and weekends when we are around home. 

EXPERIENCE 

I grew up with an energetic jack russell terrier mix and cats at home. Later on I got a black lab from a puppy which I took to obedience training classes. I trained my dog to hand and voice commands (and learned to do a good loud whistle:). I also have taken care of a colleague's 8 month old labrador for 3 months. If your dog is usually up with the birds, I am an early riser and regularly walk in the morning. I would make sure your dog gets daily walks and if they are well trained, can be taken to off leash areas to have a good run/play.  

PREFERENCES  

I am confident with dogs of all sizes and ages. While my kids are comfortable with pets, your animals also must be safe and enjoy kids. Please bring your own pet's food, snacks and bedding for their stay at our home.
