Hello! 

I've grown up in the rural UK countryside and have been around dogs and animals my whole life - the days of life in the UK were always filled with one furry creature or another. 

I've lived in NZ for 7 years now and left May 2025 to do a trip back to the UK and spend time with family. We (my partner Jake and I) have/and currently are using Trusted Housesitters throughout this stay and have looked after peoples homes and animal across the UK, France, Spain and Portugal including dogs, cats, chickens and horses. 

In the UK I grew up with Golden Retrievers, Spaniels and Border Terriers so comfortable with small and large dogs, and also understand the needs of high energy dogs v's more chill ones :-) 

We will be returning to NZ early January and intend to continue house sitting - we have absolutely loved the experience so eager to continue it again back in NZ.

For sitting, it would be both my partner Jake and I. Before we left our lives, jobs and homes in NZ - Jake was a professional Chef, and I had previously been in the world of Recruitment - in our mid 30's. We love a local farmers market with a morning coffee and are currently in the depths of learning about how to grow out own food (our own Farm Shop and Cafe one day is the dream!). I am a very active person so if your dog has higher exercise needs that can be accomodated for.
