Hello! I’m Kieryn, a 22 year old Cantabrian who moved to Auckland to fullfill my career in Journalism.

I’ve been working with dogs since I was 9. My first dog was Ace, a red Border Collie, who kick‑started my obsession with dog training. From agility to obedience, I spent years training all kinds of dogs — big, small, dramatic, stubborn — and even competed across New Zealand. After that, I worked four years at Parkavon Kennels in Christchurch, where managing a building full of barking personalities became my daily workout.

I’ve handled just about every type of dog: lead‑reactive, fence‑fighters, medicine‑dependent pups, ex‑police dogs, retired greyhounds, puppies, food‑aggressive dogs… you name it.

And it’s not just dogs — I’ve cared for cats, horses, rabbits, birds, rats, fish… basically, if it moves, I’ve probably fed it.

I’m confident with all animals, but dogs are my specialty. After working in a dog kennel with hundreds of personalities at once, the energetic ones will always have a soft spot in my heart. 😊
