My name is Jules, I'm 28 and live in Auckland New Zealand. 

I've had dogs all my life, and currenty own my own labrador called Rosco. I study landscape design and am currently on a break from university. I love animals, and have always wanted to become a dog walker, and have walked my extended families' and friends' dogs throughout my life. I'm a very patient, respectful, careful and loving person and have a wealth of experience taking care of animals. 

My motivation to join Pawshake is that I would like to stay active and explore this passion. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds of dogs, and basic dog training. I take the approach of tailoring walks to specific dogs, making an initial assessment before beginning and always being vigilant and prepared. To ensure safety I always use a leash, stay aware of surroundings, have a well planned route and ensure dogs are visable. I use positive reinforcement and incorperate training in each dog's walks. I have experience with dogs of all personalities including anxious, reactive and calm dogs, and am open to working with any breed. My skills include patience, adaptability, attention to detail and clear communication.
