We are a husband and wife team looking to offer our services out to our local neighbors to look after your beloved four legged family members. We have owned dogs all of our lives and have relocated to New Zealand for career opportunities, the both of us work Full Time in professional environments. We have two beautiful dogs that live in Sydney, we could not relocate them to New Zealand as my parents did not want to lose the opportunity to play with their fur grand pups.

The plan was to stay in New Zealand for two years but two years goes to quick and next thing you know we added a Brindle French Bulldog to the family. He is well behaved, fully vaccinated and great with other dogs big, giant or small. Denzel is just about to turn one years old, he is well socialized and if you are polite to him he might even shake your hand, give you a HI – 5 and maybe even a fist pump. Outside of that we live in a beautiful home that has secured fences and the backyard is far from the street. We are spoilt with plenty of parks, walking tracks and nearby beaches. We spend plenty of time outdoors and love walking everywhere.

We have travelled quite a lot and we understand the stress when it comes to looking for someone to look after your dog as if it were their own. We also understand what it is like to have full time jobs and a never ending list of things to do. Despite this we make every effort to ensure that we make time to walk, feed, socialize, exercise, play and care for our dogs.

We miss being around dogs and would love to keep our dog socialized but at the same time get yours out and about so you can get to your long list of things to do or even go away to the Bach every so often.

We have plenty of experience with bulldogs and Brachycephalic breeds aka. Dogs with FLAT FACES. We also have experience with small fluffy dogs and medium sized dogs. We have owned large dogs, small dogs, medium dogs and dogs that need special care. We have also owned rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, fish and silk worms… does that count?

We would love to care for dogs that are local to us and would happily offer our services to: Saint Heliers, Mission Bay, Orakei, Glen Innes, Glendowie, Stonefields etc.

Home Dog Boarding (Drop Off Time is Negotiable) (8+ Hours)

Your dog will sleep indoors in his/her own bed. Our dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in his crate. That means your pup gets the living room, we have doors throughout our house keeping him secure. Your dog will have scenic views of an inviting backyard a deck and a lovely patch of grass that he or she can call a toilet.

If you have a big dog and is well behaved he can sleep indoors.

We work full time so we prefer to do Friday Late Afternoon – Sunday Evening Bookings. Any bookings made I will make sure to keep our weekend free to supervise and play with your pet. I am sure your pet wouldn’t mind a little tug or a little fetch.

Doggy Day Care (4 – 6 HOURS):

Your dog will join us on a daily adventure to a local beach or park. If you prefer for us to stay home with your pet we will make every effort to keep him busy and socialized throughout the day. Our mission is to send your dog home super tired so he gets a good night’s rest.

We work full time so we prefer to do Friday Late Afternoon – Sunday Evening Bookings. Any bookings made I will make sure to keep our weekend free to supervise and play with your pet. I am sure your pet wouldn’t mind a little tug or a little fetch.

Daily Dog Walking (45-60 minutes):

Your dog will go on a walk near your home, I will drive to your place and take your mate out for a stroll, a sniff and a play. Dependent on how your dog is with other pets I can walk him with our French Bull Dog. Don’t be afraid about “Recall” your pup will stay on his leash and as a responsible pet owner I will pick up his business to keep the environment clean. #biodegradablepoobags

I prefer to walk your dogs in the evening after work and that way he gets home, eats dinner and has a restful sleep.

Are you going on holiday? A short business trip?

Home Visits (15 minutes per visit):

Morning & Night Visits include a 15 minute pat, cuddle, kiss and feeding. We offer a morning feed and an evening feed. We will also be happy to send you selfie picture of your mate. “Who doesn’t love seeing a picture of their pup whilst their away?”

House Sitting:

At this stage we are only offering Friday – Sunday.

This is negotiable and I am happy to discuss any requirements or questions you may have to ensure your home and pet is safe and loved.

What makes us different?

We love dogs, our dogs are our world and we are mature trustworthy respectable people. Currently my favorite show on Netflix is “Save our Shelters” and I watch YouTube videos on the daily on how to bring up well behaved pets and how to train dogs.You should see our Marshall, 5 (French Bull Dog) – he can sit, down, hi 5, come, stay, play dead, roll over, sit pretty, crawl… just to name a few.Lastly, when we lived in Australia we had many friends and collegues that let us take their dogs on walks, we went to plenty of dog events and shows and we are true supporters of the RSPCA.
